“Chloe Flower is a superstar” People Magazine. “Everyone’s favorite new exuberant pianist” Time Magazine. The above three statements couldn’t be more true. But then no one can do it the way Chloe can. No one! Chloe Won, professionally known as Chloe Flower, is an American pianist, composer, producer, influencer, fashionista and activist. Playing since the age of two, Chloe studied at the Manhattan School of Music & Julliard & interned at Russell Simmons’ Rush Philanthropic.
She has worked with so many famous artists from Swizz Beats, Nas, Celine Dion, Questlove, Deepak Chopra to Timbaland. She even scored the music for Kevin Heart’s ‘Health is Wealth’ Campaign, Nike, and the global 2013 “Make our Mark” Levis Campaign. Chloe looked stunning in her pic ( but as she says in the interview, she doesn’t agree with us.) Chloe’s unique skills were called upon to compose the music for, “A Ballerina’s Tale” the 2015 documentary about the incredible ballerina Misty Copeland. Chloe created a unique classical score for Mike Epps’ Netflix Special “Don’t Take It Personal.”
Chloe’s unique talent, is her ability to blend contemporary hip hop beats with classical influences. “I’ve never sat on a stage like that and rocked out to hip hop” Chloe told Time Magazine. It has been tried before, but no one has been able to do it right, until a girl who looks like a supermodel & plays like Liberace, named Chloe Flower appeared. Just look at her 2019 Grammy performance with Cardi B if you have any doubts.
When Cardi B rides your piano like it owes you money at The Grammys you will get attention by default. But, Chloe stunned the world with her talent and presence. Not only was Chloe, NOT overshadowed by Cardi B’s gyrating & writhing but as Cosmopolitan stated, “(Chloe) Stole the Spotlight From Cardi B.“
In July of 2015, Flower performed with Kenny ‘Babyface’ Edmonds to a sold out audience at Walt Disney Hall a classical version of Eric Clapton‘s ‘Change the World.”
Flower’s career took off after being discovered by Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds & signing with Def Jam Records, per his advice. By studying Kenny’s every move in the studio, Chloe taught herself how to produce and even learned how to use the software, “Pro Tools.’ Chloe explained, her nickname became, “Chlo Tools” because she learned how to use Pro Tools by herself. With her newfound talent, Chloe has been co-producing tracks for Meek Mill, Mike WiLL Made-It, and 2 Chainz.
As an activist, Flower has been working with the Somaly Mam Foundation to rescue child victims of human trafficking. She also works closely with AFESIP Cambodia, to ensure that the rights of these victims are protected by making sure they have access to proper education to help them reclaim their lives. “Flower is a steady philanthropist dedicated to raising awareness about human trafficking” Entertainment Weekly.
She partnered with organizations such as UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime) and CAST (Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking.) In May 2013, she won the Cast LA Award for the Creative Impact Award for her work to fight human trafficking. In 2019, Flower was chosen as a Steinway Artist.
Flower has a following of over 200K across all social media platforms. She is also the co-founder of ‘Modern Alkame,’ a daily detox drink, with Jules Wainstein, star of The Real Housewives of New York City. Check it out here: modernalkeme.com
Chloe is known as one of the most stylish and fashionable people in the public eye today. “Fashion is a huge part of my image not just on social media, but in real life too,” Chloe told Bazaar. Chloe is currently signed to Sony Music Masterworks and has released a new single titled “No Limit.’ As Chloe said on her instagram, “I wish doctors would prescribe music before drugs, music is a valid form of therapy.” As long as Chloe is on the piano I would have to agree.
